RENK的歷史可以追溯到1873年,當時Johann Julius RENK在奧格斯堡的Lechviertel為齒輪的機械生產建立了一個小型機加工車間。1879年,這家年輕的公司搬到了Goggingen社區,直到今天RENK的總部仍在那里。公司于1897年改制為股份制公司,從1923年起,將公司整合到現在的MAN集團。
